At RE/MAX Select Professionals giving back to the community is at the heart of everything we do, and this year, we are proud to be joining forces with Motto Mortgage Selections for the 2nd Annual “Take a Swing at Hunger” Golf Tournament. This event, now in its second year, unites local businesses, friends, and families to raise vital funds and awareness in the fight against hunger in our community.
A Powerful Partnership for a Greater Cause
We are excited to collaborate with Motto Mortgage Selections, a company that shares our commitment to making a positive impact. Last year, we went from “Golf Tournaments to Tables”—it was such a blessing! We donated 7,000 lbs of turkeys (over 500 turkeys!) and prepared 605 family meals, totaling 28,000 lbs of food for families in need.
This year, with Motto Mortgage Selections by our side, we aim to raise even more funds and provide even more meals to those who need them most. Together, we hope to reach our goal of raising $20,000 to benefit the Care Cupboard Food Pantry whose shelves are depleting faster than ever as families continue to rely on their support.
About the Event
The 2nd Annual Take a Swing at Hunger Golf Tournament will take place on October 27th at Palm Habor Golf Club This fun-filled day promises to be more than just a golf tournament—it’s a community-driven effort to help combat hunger.
Some highlights of the event include:
- 9:00 AM shotgun start
- Raffles, contests, and a silent auction throughout the day
- A prize for the best Halloween costume
- A lunch reception to wrap the day with fun and fellowship
